The Wine of The Month

I have to hire a new clerk for The Wine shop. What type of person would you be more likely to purchase from?

I’ll describe my favorite wine seller who has been the person I go to whenever I want a special wine. He has tasted a lot of wine, and I have learned that his palate is similar to mine. When he gives me a recommendation I know it comes from a knowledge of what is currently good, and he doesn’t always pick out the most expensive one. He has never steered me wrong. That means that he does his homework and knows the Wines he carries very well. He describes the wine to me in real-person terms and not in the “jargon” of some wine writers. He is calm and pleasant and offers to help when I look confused or look as though I need help deciding but leaves me alone when he sees I am browsing. He seems to like what he does. That comes over as a real enjoyment of Wine And the adventure of new tastes.
